Sutter Roseville Medical Center is a designated Level II Trauma Center serving a seven-county region that includes Placer, Yolo, Nevada, Sutter and Yuba counties, and portions of Sacramento and El Dorado counties.

Within the Emergency Department and during their assigned hours, this position provides care to patients and their significant others.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current California RN license required. One year of emergency or critical care experience preferred. Current CPR, IV Therapy, & ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire. MICN & TNCC required for full time/part time nurses, within six (6) months of hire, provided the nurse has one (1) year of Emergency Department experience. If less than one (1) year of experience, may complete MICN & TNCC after 12 months of employment. CEN & PALS preferred. In depth knowledge of nursing process in the assessment of physical and psycho-social needs of Emergency Department patients. Aware of adult learning principles relative to patient teaching. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
