North Valley Rehab Hospital, A Vibra Healthcare Facility, is located in beautiful Thornton Colorado, 10 minutes North of Denver. This is great place to call home and a fabulous place to work! We are searching for a great RN to join our team of professionals. This is a 16 bed geriatric acute psych unit where the average patient stay is 18 days.

The Geriatric Inpatient Psychiatric Program specializes in treating adults age 55 and older. This inpatient program addresses the needs of individuals requiring acute care for dementias and psychiatric disorders. Treatment includes psychiatric, neurological and biomedical evaluations, and an emphasis on independent function and ability to perform activities of daily living. A structured milieu provides purposeful activities seven days a week.

Program Components
• Certified for 72-hour mental health holds, (long and short certification)
• 27-10 secured unit
• Structured milieu
• Treatment of medical complications and cognitive impairments
• Medication assessment and management

The position is a 12 hour night shift from 6:30p-7a. Flexible hours can be accommodated.
