DESCRIPTION: Full-time 40+ hours.Administers the operations of Patient Care Services in defined areas within the philosophy and policies of the system. Collaborates with physician directors as well as other departmental directors. Maintains appropriate interdepartmental relationships and coordinates system-based activities with outside agencies. Responsible for nursing practice in area of responsibility on a 24-hour basis.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: B.S. in nursing required. Masters degree in nursing or related field required.Experience: Five years progressive nursing experience including management experience. Excellent communication and organization skills.Licensure: Current license to practice professional Nursing in Connecticut.Administers the operation of Patient Care Services in defined areas within the philosophy and policies of the system. Collaborates with Physicians as well as other Departmental Directors/Administrators. Maintains appropriate interdepartmental relationships and coordinates system-based activities with outside agencies.
