NURSE/NURSE PRACTITIONER

RESEARCH

Nurse or NP with NYS License to manage all aspects of conducting clinical trials in diabetes and cancer. Primary resource for protocols and liaison between the investigators, primary care providers, the IRB and the sponsor. Along with the investigator, the Research Nurse/Nurse Practitioner will screen, enroll and follow study subjects, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring while the subjects are on study. Responsible for all data and source documentation, adverse experience reporting and maintenance of complete regulatory files.

Five years of experience as an RN/NP.
At least one year of experience in clinical trials, an in-depth knowledge of protocol requirements and good clinical practices as set forth by federal regulations.
Solid PC skills (word processing and spreadsheets).
Strong communications skills (oral and written)
Solid clinical skills
Ability to multi-task in fast-paced, stressful environment.
