As a Nurse Extern, we'll indroduce you to several potential career paths including Med/Surg, Critical Care, Neuro, Women's and Children and more!Must be enrolled and in good standing in a RN program and have completed first semester of clinical rotations.Under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides patient care according to the established plan of care, utilizing the nursing process. As a member of the Patient Care Team, the Nurse Extern works closely with the Registered Nurse and Patient Care Technician on a daily basis. Participates in quality improvement and patient/family/staff teaching as appropriate. Performs all the standards of CHW within the patient-centered care program and the hospital as a whole.Job Requirements
