Director of Nursing

Acting as a Co – Leader with the Medical Director, this position reports directly to the Executive Vice President/C.O.O.. Responsibilities include strategic planning, policy and procedure development, staffing, budget development, capitol needs, and overseeing the day to day operations of the Emergency Department and an off site Urgent Care Center. Actively participates in organizational wide strategic initiatives and collaborates with all service lines and departments within the organization. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. Masters Degree strongly preferred. Valid CT RN License required. A minimum of five years previous management experience required, preferably in an Emergency Services setting.
