Director of Acute Rehabilitation

ARMC is adding a 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. We are seeking a Director of the Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit to market the program and launch this new service. Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing organizational policies and procedures for the unit.
Directing, supervising and evaluating work activities of nursing, technical, clerical, service, maintenance, and other personnel.
Monitoring the use of ancillary services, inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services.
Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation consistent with acute inpatient rehabilitation conditions.
Conducting and administering fiscal operations, including planning budgets, managing and authorizing expenditures and coordinating financial reporting.

REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
Five or more years of progressively more responsible relevant work experience, or equivalent, in the field of inpatient rehabilitation and management.
Registered Nurse in the state of Washington. Current CPR certification.
Master’s degree preferred.
Ability to demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
