Gladeview Health Care Center is a modern 132 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility with a 17 Bed Subacute Rehabilitation Unit. Designed and owned by a physician, since 1987 Gladeview has provided short-term rehabilitative care and long- term care with an emphasis on quality, and is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to complement our Interdisciplinary Team. We provide extensive orientation and training, although some long-term care experience is desirable. As a CNA at Gladeview, you will care for a wide variety of residents of varying physical and cognitive status, as well as short-term rehabilitative patients. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist in meeting the nursing and rehab needs of each resident, and will participate in planning and following the resident care plan for each resident under your care. Our focus is on quality of care, resident and family satisfaction, as well as compliance with state and federal guidelines. Schedule:
Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem Openings on 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm and 11:00 pm - 7:30 am shifts. Weekend Plan is also available.
Pay Range:
$ 11.25 to $ 12.85 per hour starting, based on experience. $ 12.50 to $ 14.10 per hour Per Diem or No Benefits, based on experience.
Evening and Night Differential of $ 1.00 per hour. Weekend Differential of $ .50/hr.

REQUIREMENTS


Job requirements include:
Must be a Registered Certified Nurse’s Aide in accordance with the laws of this state.CPR Certification preferred, but not necessary (will train).High School graduate or equivalent preferred.General work experience in long-term care preferred but not required. Fluency in written and spoken English.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, government agencies and the general public.Must be detail oriented and able to keep required documentation timely and accurately. Please do not apply if you are not willing to commute to the Old Saybrook, CT area. We WILL NOT pay for relocation costs.
