Certified Nurse Assistant - Telemetry

Current CPR required
1 to 2 years related experience preferred
Observes, reports and responds to patient’s physical, psychosocial spiritual, education, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and on an ongoing basis. Performs direct patient care activities according to the plan of care and as directed by RN. Assists in providing emotional support to patient and families. Recognizes early and subtle changes in a patient condition and reports status to RN. Initiates life support measures and performs effectively during emergency/crisis situations. Assists nursing team in admission, transfer and discharge of patients. Transitions care of patient by reporting patient status, individual patient needs, plan of care, current treatments and unfinished orders. Documents patient vital signs, I&O, height/weight and ADLs.
