CNA Team Leader

This person will be responsible to ensure that the resident care plans are followed through, keep CNA training current, will need to be able to educate nursing staff with restorative nursing programs and ensure they are followed through with. You will be responsible for orientation of new CNAs and skills checks for all CNAs.This position has flexible hours, however will require one weekend a month along with working day shift hours, some pm hours and an occasional night shift.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a certified nursing assistant, Long term care experience of 5 or more years, must be able to identify problems and implement solutions on the floor. Needs to have a mature and professional attitude to instruct and educate other CNAs. Must also have professional and clear communication skills in order to interact with nursing, management, and other departments along with residents and families.
