Provides on-call crisis intervention to primary and secondary victims of sexual assault/abuseResponds to location of victim within 45 minutes of first notificationResponds to telephone crisis calls immediately following notificationAccompanies victims to law enforcement agency, crime scene, or other destinations to provide support and education about the legal systemProvides information about sexually transmitted diseases, legal proceedings, victims rights and referrals to other community resources as neededCompletes all required documentation to comply with Attorney General's Office of Crime Compensation, Rape Crisis Program standards and Manatee Glens standards
REQUIREMENTS
MUST SPEAK SPANISH FLUENTLY - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT SPEAK FLUENT SPANISHHigh School DiplomaMust have reliable car and be willing to transport clientsMust be available on-call (24 hours) for 9 days per monthMust be able to work within flexible schedule, as daily hours varyExperience dealing with people in crisis a plus
