As a Staff Accountant you will function as part of the Financial Management Department.

Duties:

Will assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statements. Assist with the preparation of journal entries. Assist with the accounting for all company Fixed Assets. Assist with the overhead and other department allocation calculations. Complete monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts, as assigned. Complete monthly reconciliation of all bank statements. Maintain the lease contracts and monthly rent schedule. Assist with the yearly budget. Assists with the annual audit. Assist with other positions in the Accounting Department, as needed. Assist Accounting Manager and / or Controller with additional Accounting projects, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Excel skills - intermediate, required
Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, required
Great Plains Software, preferred

Effective performance of the position's duties requires a bachelor degree in accounting + 2 yrs directly related experience in accounting. Experience in a behavioral health or hospital setting is helpful.
