Social Worker/ Therapist

Social Worker/TherapistSocial Worker/Therapist reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services or designated supervisor.
Responsibilities for the Social Worker/Therapist:
Provides direct social work services to clients in our Residential North and/or Southside facilities, as well as their families, within agency policies.
Duties include, but are not limited to:Home visits
Transportation of clients in agency or personal vehicle, etc.Utilization of good verbal and written communication with staff, referring agencies, community resources and clients/families. Effectively uses both verbal and physical intervention skills.Maintains flexibility to adjust work schedules according to needs of the program.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for the Social Worker/ Therapist:
Social Worker: Master's degree in Social Work or related Human Service field, with LSW or LPC upon hire. LCSW or LCPC required upon eligibility.
Therapist: Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or relevant degree.
Must have a valid Illinois driver's license with no suspensions in effect within the previous three (3) years of hire.
Must have personal vehicle or access to personal vehicle and provide proof of automobile liability insurance.
Computer skills required.
No history of child abuse or neglect.
Must take the Child Welfare Core Curriculum Training and Child Welfare License Examination within one year of employment.Lawrence Hall Youth ServicesAttention: Human Resources
