Social Workers needed in Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile and Statewide. The Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking bachelor and master level social workers eager to join a partnership for a renewed commitment to sharing and caring for Alabama's Children

Responsibilities would include development of social service plans for a caseload in child protective services, child foster care, and/or adoptions; assessing child abuse and neglect; providing immediate crisis intervention, assessing need and delivery of services; arranging for clinical services; preparing reports and assessments.

Requirements
Social Worker (BSW):
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, and; Current license to practice Social Work in Alabama OR eligibility for license as issued by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners (Note: License must be obtained within probationary period in order to obtain permanent employment.)
Salary: $27,994.20- $43,498(yearly)

Senior Social Worker (MSW):
Master's Degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, and; Current license to practice Social Work in Alabama OR eligibility for license as issued by the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners (Note: License must be obtained within probationary period in order to obtain permanent employment.)
Salary: $31,642- $48,003.80(yearly)

Social Service Caseworker:
Graduation from a four year college with a degree in a social science or any major with at least 30 semester or 45 quarter hours in a social or behavioral science. Applicants without a social science degree should submit a college transcript or list of social or behavioral science courses and hours completed with their application.
Salary: $26,629.20- $42,458.00(yearly)
