RESOURCE AND REFERRAL SUPERVISOR
What We’re Looking For:The Program Supervisor is primarily responsible for delivering services to parents, child care providers, community members, and other interested individuals and organizations. The Supervisor manages a team of Program Specialists and coordinates activities in support of the delivery of R&R Services. The candidate will supervise and understand the child care referral process for internal and external customers (individuals and organizations)requesting R&R Services. Monitor program compliance. Coordinate, conduct and/or participate in program workshops and trainings as well as give presentations to community groups and organizations.
REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:* B.A. in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related social or human service field required
* Relevant work experience can be substituted for college level education.
* Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Knowledgeable in contractual requirements for the California Department of Education and agency policies and procedures.* knowledge of all funding terms and conditions and contracts relative to the delivery of Resource and Referral Services.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and referral database (CSP preferred and/or NACCRRAware).
* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in order to prepare and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences (agency and public).* Ability to organize, prioritize and delegate workflow.* Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required.
* Also requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, as the workload requires (may include some weekends and evenings.OTHER REQUIREMENTS
