The Assertive Community Treatment Program provides intensive and
all-inclusive case management and outpatient/rehabilitation services to
mentally ill individuals involved in the criminal justice system, and incorporates a supported housing component. The Registered Nurse is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments, assessing physical health needs, making appropriate referrals to community physicians, and providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist.

The Nurse dispenses and accounts for all medication as ordered by the
Program Psychiatrist, assesses ongoing symptomatology, and provides crisis intervention as needed. He or she helps implements the Patient Assistance
Program and under direction of Program Manager, will ensure that frontline
staff are providing appropriate services to clients. The bulk of ACT
services are provided in the community.

Position requires licensure in the State of California and a minimum of
two years of psychiatric experience. Early evening and weekend hours may
be required.
