Founded in 1969, Child Development Centers leading-edge and high-quality early care and education programs are based on the work of prominent developmental theorists and are influenced by High/Scope and Reggio Emilia philosophical approaches.

CDC has an immediate opportunity for experienced Program Director to grow our child development business in Riverside County, CA. Position will travel between Irvine and Riverside to support centers and develop growth in the Riverside region.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The Program Director (PD) oversees 8 - 10 child development centers with revenue generation responsibility of $500k to $800k. Programs at the center level include preschool and school age (K-6) with funding from CA Department of Education and/or private families. Key responsibilities include:
•Promote growth of existing child development centers in the county
•Meet or exceed financial goals through growth, cost control and program expansion
•Develop new business opportunities within county by building strategic relationships with school districts, key partners and communities
•Collaborate with the center managers and staff in developing and maintaining the highest quality child development programs for children and families;
•Develop a high performance culture which enables the selection, development and retention of Center Managers and staff
•Ensure fiscally responsible planning, budgeting and resource allocation

REQUIREMENTS
•BA/BS in Child Development or related field (MA preferred)
* 24 Early Childhood Education/Child Development units, 6 administration units and 2 adult supervision units. Child development permit required.
•Experience in Title 5 and Title 22 programs . Multi-site administration and program management experience in funded and private centers.
•Knowledge of DAP, High/Scope, Reggio Emilia,
•Understanding of Desired Results, NAEYC and NAA accreditation processes
•Experience working in preschool and school-age programs
•Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
•Drivers license / insurance
* Bilingual preferred
