Program Associate

General Description:The Program Associate will serve as the key liaison between program staff, grant seekers and grant recipients. This person will interact with high level visitors and board members so extreme professionalism is required. Additionally, they will provide both administrative and analytical support the program team.Candidate must possess the following: excellent judgment, diplomacy, high level of discretion, flexibility, extreme professionalism and outstanding personal presentation.
Duties include but not limited to:-Review incoming grant requests.-Ensure timely receipt of required grant progress reports, monitors reporting schedules and payments and assisting with reviewing and documenting grant performance.-Verifies application eligibility and compliance with the foundation's guidelines.-Organize and maintain proposals, grants and files ensuring conformity with internal and external requirements.-Extensive routine and non-routine correspondence and proofreading reports and documents.-Assist board with meeting tasks and assembling meeting books.-Always acting with professional and cooperative behavior with all coworkers and superiors.
