Director of Residential Services

Responsible for day to day operation of Arc of M-W residences Ensure quality IP’s are developed, implemented, documented, revised when necessary and developed according to the personal choices of the individualsSupervision of Residential Managers to ensure quality of services and compliance with all DMR regulations and includes staff evaluations, discipline, hiring, mentoring, scheduling and terminationsWorks with Director of Finance to develop budgets and monitor financial operationsOverall responsibility of DMR licensing for all agency residencesResponsible for policy development, on site quality assurance, identifying and resolving all pending issues, writing plans of correction and assuring implementationServes as crisis counselor and has beeper responsibilities as well as weekend on-call responsibilitiesResponsible for scheduling needed PRC/HRC meetings and attending as neededHolds and attends meetings as needed to accomplish the tasks of the position
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND EXPERIENCE


·BACHELOR’S DEGREE WITH FOUR YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF HUMAN SERVICES or 2 yr degree w/8 yrs exp.·EXTENSIVE & SUCCESSFUL SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE·CPR, FIRST AID, PMT, MED CERT·DMR COMPLIANCE GUIDELINES·EFFECTIVE WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION·COMPUTER SKILLS ·ABILITY TO MARKET AGENCY MISSION AND GOALS·ABILITY TO ANALYZE SITUATIONS, DEVELOP SOLUTIONS·ABILITY TO WORK WELL WITHOUT SUPERVISION.·ABILITY TO PROVIDE POSITIVE LEADERSHIP, PROBLEM SOLVE, HANDLE CRISIS AND DESIGN NEW DELIVERY SYSTEMS OR MODELS·ABLITIY TO HAVE FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE AS NEEDED ·ABILITY TO LIFT, TRANSFER OR PERFORM BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTION IF NEEDED·ABILITY TO MEET DEADLINES, HANDLE STRESS, AND CRISIS WITHOUT LOSS OF EFFECTIVENESS AND COMPOSURE.
