DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Dynamic non-profit agency in North Hills (north Los Angeles) that has been serving adults with development disabilities since 1954, seeks a full time Director of Nursing.
This person will consistently interact with potential volunteers, parents, consultants, and staff members throughout the agency. The person will be heavily involved in providing high quality nursing care to our residents in a group home environment. Friendly, personable, and the ability to have a high degree of patience are attributes that are utilized daily. Great communication skills—both verbal and written – also are needed.Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in nursing. At least one year working with persons with developmental disabilities and case management experience also is preferred.
