Crisis Therapist - Emergency Services swing shift

FT swing shift position for an energetic, motivated person who is looking to provide therapeutic emergency services to a broad range of consumers.

The Emergency Services Therapist provides a range of psychological assessment, evaluations, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for individuals, couples, groups, and/or families as appropriate.

Provides short-term therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services.

Collects data about patients through interview, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques.

Provides and/or arranges for therapeutic interventions as appropriate in a crisis condition and for those with serious disturbance problems.

Follows up to determine reliability and validity of treatment used; makes recommendations regarding modification to services and service delivery.


Community REACH CENTER is a private nonprofit center providing mental health services to residents of Adams County. The Center provides evaluations, counseling and therapies to adults, adolescents, children, families and seniors. We currently have 16 sites offering 43 different programs.

REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Counseling or related area.
CO Licensure a must!!!

Experience:
Minimum of two year relevant crisis team experience.
Experience with 27-10 criteria.

Material and Equipment Directly Used:
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook Express, and Internet Explorer. Must be computer literate.
