CASE MANAGER 1 OR 2 - BILINGUAL-SPANISH-MALE

The male, bilingual, Spanish-speaking candidate is required to function as one member of a male/female co-facilitation team. The Teen Reach Center Program out-of-school-time-activity worker is responsible on a daily basis for maintaining and updating program participants’ attendance records, grades, school suspensions, and group activities, as well as tutoring youth from the hours of 3:00 – 4:30 or 5:00 – 6:30.

The male, bilingual, Spanish-speaking candidate co-facilitates weekly STAR teen dating violence prevention groups in local schools, maintains and updates STAR curriculum, provides community education regarding teen dating violence, as needed, facilitates weekly domestic violence children’s group, coordinates the completion of pre-and-post evaluation forms, and maintains and updates program service documentation.

The male, bilingual, Spanish-speaking candidate maintains a flexible schedule including late afternoon and evening hours and serves as the Program Recreation and Team Sports Coordinator. This co-facilitation team member also maintains, upkeeps, and conducts inventory control for all recreational facility and equipment.

Additionally, the co-facilitation team member also serves as the Cornerstone Administrator, responsible for updates to program records, grades, attendance, and activities and provides assistance with life skills and educational classes from two curriculum guides –Sunburst and I Can Problem Solve. The co-facilitation team member also provides quarterly lesson plans for the Program Coordinator for summer, fall, winter, and spring terms and assists other instructors, when possible, with coverage needs, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university. Strong interpersonal and time management skills. Some direct service experience preferred. The incumbent must possess the mobility to work with a community based caseload, as well as the ability to maintain assigned community and home-based services.

Additionally, the candidate Must maintain a flexible schedule including late afternoon and evening hours. Must be bilingual - Spanish. Tutoring the youth program from the hours of 3:00 – 4:30/or 5:00 – 6:30.
