Bilingual Therapist

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Conducts intakes, individual, group, and family therapy including: initial clinical assessments, diagnosis, clinical treatment planning and implementation, referral, and termination.
Available to handle client emergencies as needed including after hours.
Conducts parent education programs and family support groups.
Collaborates and consults with school personnel which may include teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop an integrated approach to treatment as well as to aid in the identification and referral of students who would most likely benefit from mental health services.
Maintains the necessary community/professional contacts.
REQUIREMENTS
M.A./M.S. degree in psychology with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy or M.S.W
Degree must be eligible for registration with Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Must be eligible to receive "waivered" status from the Department of Mental Health.
Experience relevant to working with children and families.
Must demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based child and family clinical interventions relevant to families served in community mental health settings.
Must be Bilingual Spanish/English.
