Barium Springs Home for Children is currently seeking Behavioral Technicians for our Barium Springs/Statesville Day Treatment Program. Duties at this program for at-risk elementary and middle school aged youth include counselingbehavior management leading group and recreational activities service documentation other miscellaneous activities. </li)Full time hours that coincide with the public school schedule and some late afternoon/evening hours as well as summer program hours. Barium Springs Home for Children was founded in 1891 by the Synod of North Carolina, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The Home began as an orphanage, serving the many children whose parents died during their childbearing years. Services later evolved to meet the needs of young people who come from an abusive, neglectful, or unstable family background.
Currently, Barium Springs Home for Children is responding to the needs of North Carolina's children and families through the operation of residential care, educational services, full-day childcare, clinical services, foster care, and campus ministry.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in a Human Services field and two years post graduate experience or a Masters Degree in a Human Services field and one-year post graduate experience.
