Assistant Director for Youth Program - HOUSING INCLUDED!

Eckerd Youth Alternatives, a leader in alternative treatment programs for youth-at-risk, is seeking an Assistant Program Director for our wilderness educational camp located in Milton, FL. This is a supervisory position sharing operational and programmatic responsibility for a seven-day-per-week, round-the-clock residential program. This position involves administrative and supervisory duties including, but not limited to, program organization, scheduling and delivery, and supervision and training of subordinates, overnight safety and security.
REQUIREMENTS
Must enjoy working in the outdoors, be able to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in human service-related field required. Minimum 2 years directly related, paid work experience in residential programs for youth, at least one of which must have involved staff supervision, and one involving direct supervision of adolescents. Experience in group-based programming and group work modalities is preferred.
