Objetivo Fama - Photographer/Editor FT-Temporary

Photographer/editors (2) to travel for network music show.
Temporary/full-time position: September 18, 2006 to December 15, 2006.

The TeleFutura Television Group is seeking two adventuresome Spanish-speaking videographer/editors to travel the US and Puerto Rico. Will be looking for talented Spanish language singers as part of a network television show, “Objetivo Fama.”

Candidates selected will be part of a six-person team staging auditions in more than 20 cities, preparing news stories and two network entertainment specials on the selection process. Hours will vary but will not normally exceed 40 per week.

Each photographer/editor will receive a salary and travel expenses paid by the company. The company will also pay travel to/from each photographer/editor’s home city at the beginning/ending of the temporary position, as well as during the Thanksgiving holiday week. Salary d.o.q.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills:The ideal candidate will be creative and quick, with a good eye for composition and following action. He or she will be well versed in the operation of DVC Pro-type cameras and be able to monitor audio and video quality simultaneously. Technically savvy is a plus. He or she will be well versed in contemporary television photojournalism techniques and be an accomplished linear editor (non-linear (Final Cut Pro) editing skills are a plus).

Experience:Requires 1-3 years experience in similar role.
