Multimedia Technician

Very prestigious, national law firm seeks a multimedia technician to join their team.

This person would provide audio, video, data and computer technologies for meetings and special events throughout the firm. Would oversee and monitor multimedia equipment to provide the highest quality services for attorneys and clients. Coordinates support with various departments to ensure accurate and timely conference room arrangements for meetings held throughout the office.

In addition this positions job duties include preparing conference rooms for daily use by setting up multimedia equipment for current day's events and breaking down equipment from previous business day. Determines the most effective arrangement to achieve desired results and arranges technical set-ups utilizing various audio and video conferencing technologies. Ensures that all audio-video conference equipment is in proper functioning order. Assumes responsibility for video taping depositions, training programs and other Firm events as requested. Maintains equipment in proper working order and ensures availability of accessories to accommodate the Firm’s multimedia requirements. On a daily basis, thoroughly checks conference schedules for changes and cancellations and conference forms for accuracy; contacts appropriate parties for clarification of information as necessary. Troubleshoots issues with multimedia equipment and contact vendors as necessary to resolve malfunctions. Lastly, assumes responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of all Firm records and files.
REQUIREMENTS
Prior Law Firm experience a plus.
Must be computer savvy.
Experience in a mutlimedia position highly desirable.
Must be able to work well with office equipment.
Personable, able to work with numberous people and any given time.
Able to take directive.
