WEB ANALYTICS MANAGER
(Web Reporting and Analytics Specialist)

Our client is a high-growth San Diego based company. We have a position open for a Web Reporting and Analytics Specialist to enhance the usability, optimization, and presentation of the web-based information relevant to client online advertising efforts, and to be responsible for reporting and analyzing web content metrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Analyze traffic and audience demographics for all client websites, and prepare reports that highlight key metrics and trends
? Develop statistical models and data-driven analyses supporting results-based advertising campaigns for current and prospective clients.
? Provide website statistics for client reporting and sales presentations and proposals
? Manage website analytics tools
? Participate in site launches to ensure proper measurement tools are in place
? Develop metrics processes to enable the capture of information for new page content
? Prepare and present monthly reports that focus on general tracking of site metrics and user behavior
? Develop and implement process and procedures in conjunction with third party vendors
? Utilize data mining techniques and queries to gather business intelligence related to online advertising programs
? Recommend best practices for automated processes for web tracking
? Work with all areas of online marketing: email, display, search, and website
? Create/edit Analytics presentations for clients and account team.
? Public speaking on analytics topics

Qualifications:
? 3 - 5 years of web metrics or data analytics experience, and understanding of Omniture or similar tools
? BA or BS in a quantitative area (mathematics, statistics, computer science) a plus, but not required.
? Strong communication skills (verbal & written); ability to provide concise clear reporting and analysis, strong interpersonal and team skills
? Ability to complete analysis and deliver results in a timely manner
? Online marketing/marketing research background and/or familiarity with online metrics and web terminology highly preferred
? Ability to formulate quantitative approaches to address business questions
? Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
? Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
COMPENSATION: $80-90K
