Job Category: Marketing/MarketingGeneral Responsibilities: Recruiting, training, maintaining and managing a team of street representatives who will perform grass roots field marketing activities in key markets.The Regional Street Team Supervisor’s efforts will include the planning and managing the execution of grass roots marketing activity at the local level resulting in the effective penetration of targeted ethnic segments as well as their local community based organizations.As part of the Street Team’s grass roots effort they will be required to gather competitive data, which they shall report in writing to the Supervisor who will then summarize the information and forward a consolidated report to management.The supervisor will be responsible for "scheduling staffers" and ensuring our budget is not exceeded by the different corridor activities.The Supervisor will be responsible for the scheduling of activity and related logistics for members of the Street Teams as well as the management of promotional materials inventory, including the placing of restocking orders.Responsibility includes building a database to support street team activities for all "key corridors" by city.Additionally, the supervisor will be required to attend “Key” events, tracking hours and time sheets and preparing post event reports.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Experience Required: All positions require the ability to model the Corporate Values of Respect, Courage, Passion, Teamwork and Integrity.
Communication, leadership, ability to drive change, innovative outlook and problem analysis are core competencies that are required of all positions.
Prior Supervisory Experience of 2-3 years, with a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of related field experience (Required); preferably local field marketing, field sales or advertising experience.
Experience in interview and selection of applicants.
Excellent time management skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in compiling statistical/metric reports, agent activity reports and schedule deviance reports.
Prior experience in Human Resource Policy and Procedures, Employment Law & EEOC regulations.
Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-Mail, and basic office equipment.
Intuitive judgment and decision-making skills.
Realize implications of how changes will affect the business.
Proven ability to train and develop staff members as well as deliver feedback in a positive manner.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
Ability to work a varied schedule which includes evenings, weekends and holidays
Must be culturally in tune with the language and culture of target consumer demographics
Bilingual Skills Preferred.
Experience in time keeping management and record keeping systems.Special Considerations: Must be available for weekend and evening hours as needed. Up to 15% travel may be required. Candidate must reside in Chicago, Ill.
