You will lead the development of Divisional product line marketing strategies as well as the business development efforts required to fulfill those strategies.
Your responsibilities:Provides sales force with high quality, actionable leads gathered through market, industry and competitor research. Defines short and long-term product strategy through standard product definition, price modeling and new product development efforts. Integrates research of market potential, customer needs, buying behavior, Divisional strategic plans and United's ability to deliver product. Ongoing prioritization and assessment of opportunities Keeps the sales force aware of all new product offerings through regular communications. Leads cross-functional business development and new product development efforts including identification of opportunity, analysis of viability, business case generation. Manages process through to approval. Identifies target market segments and customers (based on product strategy) for hand-off to appropriate sales team. Generates leads for sales force through market and industry research, competitor analysis. Develops bundled pricing structure across multiple product and service lines. Solicits feedback from the sales force and customer support to refine product offerings as needed; communicating product offerings to sales force.
REQUIREMENTS
EducationBS / BA degree required; marketing preferred. MBA strongly preferred.
Experience/SkillsHighly motivated, results oriented individual with ability to multitask and manage through competing priorities. 4-6 years of work experience in marketing or related function. Experience working with senior executives desired. Experience in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products desired. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to present effectively to senior management. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and integrate knowledge from different stakeholders to form recommendations. Strong analytic skills required. Solid knowledge of MS Office Applications (Required: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project; Desired: Access). Knowledge of Salesforce.com or CRM tools a plus.
