Sr. Marketing Analyst

As a Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of customer marketing programs for the HSBC Credit Card portfolio. You will provide executional support for short and long-term programs designed to achieve corporate marketing objectives.You will attend and/or lead task force meetings to ensure quality program execution and on-time delivery across functional areas such as Risk, Finance, Operations, Systems and Customer Information Management. You must coordinate with vendors, creative agencies and corporate purchasing to ensure cost efficiencies are met. (Vendor types include: letter shops, printers) And, you must assure initial and ongoing program compliance with relevant regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.You will be involved in creative strategy discussions to learn how to develop customer communications that meet program objectives and drive desired behavior. You will have opportunities to participate in communication strategy discussions in order to understand branding concepts.You are encouraged to make recommendations on cost reduction and will be responsible for invoice tracking and budget consolidation for projects.Over time, you will be expected to develop an understanding of various aspects of the program P&L and work towards understanding the relationship of the portfolio P&L. You may be asked to direct activities of analysts and or interns.Expanding your marketing knowledge by attending conferences, reading relevant publications and enrolling in seminars in related disciplines is suggested.

job Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration, MBA a plus. 1 year general marketing experience required, 2 years preferred. 1 year experience working in Financial Services marketing desirable. Proven written and verbal communication skills required. Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills. Detail orientated. / gj-hh
