Specialist, Sales Marketing

Purpose:
Hoy Newspaper, Tribune Company’s Spanish language daily is newspaper currently has an excellent opportunity working as a Sales Marketing Specialist in our Los Angeles office. In this role, you will serve as a member of the National Sales team and primary liaison to our General Market Newspapers. This person will manage advertising client projects through the collection, analysis interpretation and communication of marketing research findings, competitive analysis and client information. This position is responsible for developing and presenting compelling marketing presentations in order to meet client needs and generate additional advertising revenue by determining the best way to support the recommendation based on expertise, creative thinking and data analysis.
REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 25%

Qualified candidates should possess a college degree with major in marketing, advertising, media research or applicable business concentration. Requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience or related work experience. Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel is a must. Requires the ability to pull, interpret, explain research data and incorporate it into sales presentations to support recommendations. Past experience with use of CMR, Scarborough, Claritas, mapping software, Gallup and proprietary studies. Understanding of Hispanic market and/or previous media or sales experience is a plus. Bilingual Spanish and English skills is a plus but not required.
