Americas Field Marketing
Media & Entertainment - SalesRole/Purpose:Support Americas sales efforts by planning and executing field marketing programs and launching new business initiatives for the Autodesk Media & Entertainment Division (M&E). Work closely with field sales, channel sales, division (product marketing, partner marketing etc.), and worldwide marketing teams to develop, execute, and measure a variety of field based marketing programs. Primary focus is on executing customer acquisition, customer satisfaction and demand generation marketing programs in order to drive sales for 3ds Max, Maya, MotionBuilder, and other M&E software solutions.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Works with internal clients to execute compelling and measurable marketing programs that drive market demand for M&E software and solutions.
Effectively communicates and collaborates with sales organization, division, and worldwide marketing to achieve desired results.
Approves tactical plans for assigned marketing projects.
Manages event marketing programs, including such events as launch events, local conferences & trade shows, etc.
Works with reseller channel to effectively implement marketing tactics and approves/tracks reseller budget.
Drives vertical messaging and marketing efforts for each customer segment (games, design visualization, film, and general 3D).
Works with agency to manages on-line media placement. Drives analysis & recommendations
Works with systems marketing manager to implement of best practices, leverage of marketing principals, and drive cross-marketing opportunities where appropriate.
Manages budget for assigned projects.
Assists in researching and implementing new communications methods, processes and tools .
Ensures company marketing communication supports public image.
Report results on quarterly and annual basis for all activities.Qualifications: 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Business, or Marketing; or equivalent experience.
6+ years corporate or field marketing experience in a high technology business. Agency experience considered.
In-depth understanding of marketing communications principles, strategies and methods.
Proven budget management skills.
Experience in a wide range of marketing disciplines, including advertising, research, online/search, direct, and event marketing.
Multi-tier channel sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
Experience managing large, cross-functional matrix teams.
Solid understanding of company's products and customer base.
Strong presentation and communication skills required
Proven ability to manage agency partners (on-line media, creative agency).
In-depth knowledge of design, writing, creative and production practices.
