Search Product Manager

As Product Manager, you will have responsibility for the strategic direction and deployment of Search for Bank of America's website with over 1.7 billion unique visitors per year and at 15 million customers dominates the domestic market with over one third of all online banking customers. Each month over 1MM visitors use our existing Search tool. We are looking to develop a best of breed search platform for both Bank of America's public and private sites that elevates search to a key navigational element while maximizing our customer's self service experience. Position responsibilities will include defining this new strategic direction, determining best technical solution and leading all aspects of product deployment including integration with content management and installation of Spanish language capabilities. Development activities include customer's needs assessments, development of business requirements, user flow design, user acceptance testing, and providing subject matter expertise to project planning, quality and marketing partners. Once installed, you will manage the Search tool including the identification of continuous improvement opportunities leveraging Six Sigma processes such as Voice of the Customer, Voice of the Associate coupled with ongoing analysis of the evolution of search within the web space. Responsibilities will include creation of a multi-year roadmap for product enhancement, conducting market/customer research and competitive analysis and developing end-to-end requirements for future product releases based upon product roadmap.
REQUIREMENTS


Required Skills:

3-5 years experience managing a web site search product. Proven record of building and executing strategic multi-year product roadmaps that result in best of breed position. Superior understanding of consumer internet behavior and navigational patterns. Ability to successfully champion change, influencing and inspiring execution within a continually evolving channel. Project management expertise with proven success leading large projects. Ability to drive measurable results in a cross-functional environment. Ability to manage multiple initiatives is a must. Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills along with being detail-oriented and extremely organized with a proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results. Bachelors Degree.

Six Sigma Greenbelt Certified. Fluency in Spanish.
