Sales and Marketing Manager
Burton Industries is seeking a detail oriented and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager with strong experience in the electronics manufacturing and services provider industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans in accordance with corporate goals.
Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals for all sales personnel/representatives accordingly.
Review market and industry analysis to determine sales activity focus.
Review existing customer needs to establish goals in growing business share; provide forecast of potential needs to management for potential capital equipment investments.
Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to improve and control the sales and marketing program.
Assign sales territories to sales representatives.
Develop and implement marketing strategy.
Represent company at trade shows or other industry events to promote the company’s services.
Deliver sales presentations to existing and new customers in coordination with sales representatives.
Meet with existing customers to assist sales representatives in maintaining, growing, and improving relationships.
Analyze and control department expenditures and create department budget.
Act as liaison between other company departments for sales-related activities.
Prepare periodic (quarterly) sales reports showing sales volume (totals, by sales representative, by industry or by other sub-category as deemed useful), potential sales, and areas of proposed customer base expansion(s).
Monitor industry periodicals, trade reports, etc to remain current on technological changes in the industry.
Perform duties as assigned by the General and Operations Managers.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Marketing/Management or Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the Electronic Manufacturing Services Provider or related electronic industry.
Working knowledge of electrical circuits, schematics, and electronic assembly techniques.
Demonstrated success in development and/or management of a sales department. Ability to integrate multiple organizational aspects including outside sales personnel, manufacturing representatives, inside sales, customer service, and marketing.
Sales forecasting, annual business planning, competitive awareness and evaluation, people and organizational development.
Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of and communication of contractual terms and conditions
