Research Executive

Our continued success has created new opportunities for a Research Executive within our Santa Monica, CA office. As a Research Executive, you are an essential member of a research team responsible for the execution of full-scale custom market research studies. Your responsibilities include assisting in project design, developing study questionnaires, partnering with and organizing support departments' efforts to complete project tasks, monitoring timelines, reviewing questionnaires and numerical data for logic and accuracy and investigating/recommending solutions to manager and team. You will begin building your skills in writing issue-focused analyses through regular and ad hoc reporting and gain increased internal visibility as the key contact for support departments.
Research Executives are accountable for:
•Taking ownership for assigned tasks by managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision, developing relationships with team members and internal clients and establishing credibility through knowledgeable and timely communications
•Consistently delivering high quality and accurate data, visuals and reports
•Assisting manager/team in client deliverables by demonstrating knowledge, understanding and appropriate application of analytical tools, sampling techniques and research methodology
•Seeking out and participating in level appropriate internal and external trainings to further knowledge and skills
•Contributing to account profitability by monitoring own time/chargeability and appropriately utilizing team and company resources
•Contributing to proposals for potential and existing clients by initiating and pulling together estimates and investigating inquiries
•Assisting in training of new team members on Millward Brown products, services and methodologies; demonstrating leadership qualities and capabilities
REQUIREMENTS
As a successful Research Executive, you have:
•A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a quantitative marketing research role
•Strong understanding of market research concepts and methodologies
•Strong detail-orientation
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•An ability to building positive relationships with team members and clients
•Developing analytical skills; ability to identify trends within the numbers
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
