Public Relations Manager

Digidesign seeks an experienced public relations manager to develop and maintain our worldwide press relationships, increasing awareness of the Digidesign brand and product line. The manager contributes to and oversees the development and distribution of press releases and kits, newsletters, application stories, and white papers, plus coordination of press events.We require candidates to have press relationships or work experience within the music products, pro audio, and/or post production industry. Experience in artist relations a plus, but not mandatory. Successful candidate will use prior management skills to oversee a team of outside PR contractors and small internal staff.This position requires strong communication and organization skills, and experience consistently meeting deadlines while working within a specified budget. A BS/BA degree or equivalent and 5 years of experience in marketing, at least 3 of which are in public relations, is required.
