Proposal Implementation Manager Sr

Successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline, and have a minimum of 10 years experience in the aerospace industry working on projects and proposals to the US Government, developing and implementing proposal strategies, facilitating collaboration, and training small and large teams. Requires an understanding of both 1) technical, management, leadership and communications issues affecting winning proposals and 2) Government competitive acquisition approaches including RFPs, evaluation criteria, post–submittal questions and final proposal revisions. Requires excellent written/verbal communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and facilitate the development of successful proposals. Proficiency in MS Office applications is required. Understand/Experience with capture management process is desirable. Position involves intermittent extended hours and occasional travel within the US. Understanding of space, electronics and/or laser business areas is desirable. Must be a US Citizen and eligible for Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

An exciting opportunity is available for a Proposal Process Manager (Grade 11/12) to provide leadership and proposal development expertise to medium and large technical proposals, with emphasis on developing and implementing proposal strategies and winning proposals. Responsibilities include planning and managing all aspects of proposal process, presenting proposal development training, and reviewing/editing graphics, text and interim planning products.
