Production Artist

I. POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Artist works closely with the Senior Art Directors and Creative Director to produce all marketing materials including catalog, direct mail, handouts, in-store signage, and print advertising.






II. RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Create sound mechanicals and pre-press files

· Perform minor photo manipulation and color correction

· Responsible for communicating any changes during the production process including copy, photography, color or product changes to all internal associates and external vendors

· Adheres to creative standards developed by the Creative DirectorJob Requirements
Travel Percentage: 0%III. REQUIREMENTS:

A) Education/Experience:

· Expert knowledge in Quark Express, Adobe Creative suite, and Microsoft office

· Proven experience in building sound printer ready materials

· Portfolio of sample of work must be provided prior to interview

· 2 to 4 years proven experience as a production artist

· College Degree or equivalent experience

· Effective time management a must for this deadline oriented position

· May require extended hours during peak periods of production

· Detailed oriented and team player
