Product Marketing Manager - MobileView

Business Unit: GE Industrial, SecurityFunction: MarketingResponsibilities: **HOT JOB**Own product roadmaps for GE Security mobile video surveillance products
Create MRD's (Market Requirement Document) and present to Sales and Engineering.
Survey and report on new industry trends, developments, technologies and other relevant data globally.
Search out and compare competitive product lines, globally.
Assess firm's strengths and weaknesses against the competition, SWOT analysis. *Coordinate multiple product developments and priorities with Sales and Engineering.
Monitor and support product development issues for Operations Department.
Assist Marcom (marketing communications) to develop and execute product introduction plans.
Assist Technical Publications with generating and producing technical specifications, A&E documents, technical briefs and installation and operation instructions.
Provide necessary product training to Technical Support, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing related departments.
Assist Sales with product line revenue forecasts.
Assist Customer service to ensure steps are taken to communicate, resolve and correct product failures.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's Degree
Must have at least 5 years of experience in Sales or Marketing, of which at least 2 years should have been in a marketing role
Must have experience in designing and executing Market Requirement Documents (MRD's)
Experience with launching New Products

Must be willing to accept an annual base salary of no more than $150,000.
Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time.Desired: Engineering Degree in Communication/Electronics/Computer Sciences
MBA in Marketing
Experience in dealing with US Government Transit Authorities and/or Govt Suppliers
Familiarity with the Security Industry would be a plus
