Product Marketing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:·Primary responsibility includes the development and introduction of new products, as well as the evaluation/implementation of product enhancements, including: new product research and identification, market and competitive analysis, new product specification, design and development, solicitation and coordination of customer feedback, product and market testing (bench testing, clinical testing and field trials), coordination of all phases of product introduction from product evaluation to product release.·Assists in support, management and promotion of existing products including market research, product testing, clinical testing, competitive analysis, product pricing and product positioning.·Assists in the design and development of sales collateral, advertising, promotional and instructional materials. Writes, reviews, edits copy where applicable (both technical and creative) including application instructions for new products.·Acts as liaison between marketing and outside field sales. Communicates new product releases to field; coordinates samples and release of all materials.·Must have the ability to travel thirty percent (30%) in the field to work with sales representatives and attending trade shows.·Analyze, develop, and implement new procedures to improve service to our customers, efficiency in our department and/or improve profit margins.·Attends at least two days of continuing education seminar per calendar year for professional growth and development; must be pre-approved by Director or VP of Marketing before scheduling.·Verification of the implementation and compliance with the FDA Quality Systems and ISO13485 that applies to this management position.·All other duties as necessary to assist Vice President of Marketing with administrative support
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
·Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Business, Marketing or Management; (healthcare or business preferred)·Minimum 3 years combined experience in sales/marketing of healthcare products.
·Minimum of 2 years experience in Product management and/or New Product Development.·PC literacy (Word & Excel) a must, Access & PowerPoint skills preferred.
·Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·Good organizational, analytical and project management skills.
·Energetic, disciplined self-starter and able to work independently.
