The primary purpose of this position is: To enter item and price information and images into new ads or directly into ad builder software, and to perform page modifications as needed.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: (Primary accountability for specific functions and results)
1. Enter new items in a page, including copy and images. Use sources provided to add images to pages as necessary.2. Revise pages as required through the proofing process, checking for missing elements, re-arranging copy blocks and other ad elements as needed.3. Advise CSR’s on copy legibility and discrepancy issue in ad plans.4. Advise CSR’s on needed template revisions, assist in filling out graphic request forms as needed.5. Understand the printing process to ensure that pages are built correctly for printing.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:Minimum needed - High School Diploma or equivalent, Vo-tech education with computer emphasis.Experience:3 years computer layout experience
Macintosh Computer skills, QuarkExpress® and InDesign
Special skills – Ad layout and design skills
(Other) – Good spelling and typing skills
