Product Marketing Manager (Houston, Texas)Invensys Process Systems (IPS) provides products, services and solutions for automation & optimization of plant operations in the process industry. SimSci-Esscor, a business unit of IPS, for nearly 40 years has been a leader in development & deployment of process simulation software, services and solutions spanning oil & gas, refining, chemicals and the power industry.Check us out if you're interested in managing our growing Comos Product Line -As total advocate for Comos you will: (1) Create development of business plans & set our Comos market strategy; (2) Oversee market research & monitor our competitor activity; (3) Develop our market requirements, pricing strategies & got to market plans; (3) Identify product's customer needs & coordinate product enhancements with software engineering & sales; and (4) Assist in driving strategy of 4 major opportunities for this product line.REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelors Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 10+ years professional experience focusing on: (1) Business development or engineering operations of E.P.C. (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Services that specialize in oil/gas, chemical or power industry plant design; OR (2) Licensing operations for oil/gas or chemical manufacturing processes; OR (3) Product management of engineering collaboration workflow & automation software products.This position will be located at our Houston, Texas offices and requires 30% - 40% travel. Individuals located in the United States and interested in relocating to Houston, Texas are encouraged to apply.
