Include organizing the logistics of trade shows, ordering promotional items, developing and maintaining Company presentations and databases, assisting with web site, and various other marketing functions. Many of the marketing functions require verbal and written communication using both Spanish and English. Organize annual trade shows and participate in related marketing activities for significant trade show events. Maintain inventory of marketing, promotional, and trade show materials. Create and maintain marketing files, records, calendars, logs and other documents. Aid in the design, production, and writing of marketing materials. Design less complex promotional brochures or related materials. Use basic graphic design terminology, layout and design standards. Assist with concept development and layout for design of marketing material. Develop and maintain market information database; Conduct second hand market research to identify, analyze and expand existing and targeted markets, applications, and customers; Coordinate with outside vendors and other departments to finish projects in a timely manner. Assist in the booking and management of advertising. Set up and maintain photo library, press coverage, and editorial records. Set up and maintain mailing lists of prospective customers. Maintain a customer database. Assist in selected marketing projects as requested by the Marketing Manager. Develop and maintain an understanding of our business, marketing materials and business jargon, the unique point of difference and our products and services. Be willing and able to learn the products and work in a sales support role if needed. Advise Marketing Manager as to any problems or unusual situations as required. Organize and manage special company events.
