Marketing Specialsit

Jones & Stokes is a multidisciplinary, employee-owned consulting firm headquartered in Sacramento, California. With 19 offices in eight states, the firm provides a wide range of natural resource management and planning services to public agency and private clients throughout the nation.

We are seeking an individual to work in our marketing and corporate communications department to coordinate advertising, marketing collateral and web content for the company’s internal and external internet sites. Responsibilities include: copywriting and editing (brochures, direct mail, web content, award submittals, press releases, articles, etc.), under minimal supervision of the Marketing Manager. This individual will coordinate assigned projects through all stages from concept to completion including (copywriting/editing/layout, proofs, mail houses, etc.). Also develops/implements targeted advertising and PR programs and assists with coordination and marketing support in other areas as needed such as HR, Proposals and Environmental Education. Contributes in team planning sessions.
REQUIREMENTS
This individual will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7+ years experience in the marketing field preferably in business to business marketing, strong organizational skills, experience with multi-tasking, copywriting for marketing collateral and web is a must. The job requires strong writing and communication skills, a high degree of self-sufficiency, and creativity. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and some Access. A&E industry experience is a plus.
