Marketing Specialist

This is a unique position, allowing the right individual to grow in several areas of marketing/communications. Responsibilities include:

- Organizing/Creating of an external, printed Sales/Marketing Newsletter

- Providing Graphics team with documents for layout/design of Newsletter

- Assisting Marketing department with copywriting of miscellaneous online promotions, flyers, brochures, email autoresponders, etc.

- Assisting Product Development with miscellaneous special projects
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Requirements:

- Demonstrated ability to organize projects and workflow, and follow-up with appropriate source

- Initiative and commitment to manage projects through to a successful outcome, meeting tight deadlines.

- Ability to work effectively & independently in a high-paced environment while maintaining professional, positive demeanor.

- Proficiency in MS Word, familiarity in Excel and PowerPoint

- Basic knowledge of graphic file requirements and manipulation for hand-off to Graphics

- Excellent copywriting, editing, proofreading and grammar skills

- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, marketing or other relevant field; or 4+ years hands-on experience
