The Marketing Operations team at WebEx is in place to optimize processes around lead generation, measure and analyze marketing performance, and support sales prospecting activities. The team is responsible for process and documentation of lead flow and other marketing processes, implementation of marketing programs in our emarketing systems, operationalizing database marketing best practices, metrics and analysis of marketing performance, general program optimization, consolidation of systems requirements, departmental communications, and various aspects of sales prospecting and demand generation support.
This is a new position created due to an abundance of projects.
The candidate who fills this position will be a key contributor on the Marketing Operations team. This person will be instrumental in both leading and participating in a diverse set of projects working with Marketing, Sales and IT teams. The opportunity will also exist to become an emarketing guru, educating key internal stakeholders in aspects of email marketing.
Overall ResponsibilitiesSystems Projects• Participate on CRM Optimization team• Participate on team representing Marketing on business intelligence tools project• Lead & Participate in creating systems requirements• Participate on team focusing on data integrityEmail Marketing Operations & Marketing Program Operations• Advocate usability standards and customer ease-of-use in all areas related to email communication.• Recommend and implement best practices around email marketing, including opt in, unsubscribe, and privacy policy• Provide functional expertise, leadership and direction to direct marketing project implementation team on data pulls, segmentation, and any tracking requirements• Drive data mining efforts for greater understanding of the customer and more successful email marketing campaigns• Consult with sales and marketing teams to make sure customer and prospect emails are both effective, and contain proper messaging• Develop, manage and optimize segmentation in conjunction with Direct Marketing to drive successful monetization of customer and prospect databases.• Work with WebEx Legal and read industry publications to stay on top of all email legislation and ensure processes keep WebEx in compliance.• Interpret various data to identify and advocate for email deliverability and customer communication improvements.Reporting & Analysis

REQUIREMENTS
Desired Qualifications & Experience• 5+ years technology marketing and/or sales or sales operations experience• 1-3 years program or project management experience• Strong business analysis and project management skills• Experience developing business requirements and project managing systems implementation• Experience in delivering data-driven marketing insights• Experience with segmentation, test design, setting metrics, and program evaluation.• General familiarity with business process improvement practices• Knowledge of customer database architecture and functionality• Knowledge of and experience with BtoB direct marketing campaigns• A high standard of written and verbal communication (presentation skills are highly desirable)• Experience with implementations of CRM solutions or other enterprise software applications• Understanding of web analytics• Degree in Marketing, Business or related area, or equivalent experience
