This position is responsible for management oversight of the list strategies and list audit functions for direct mail programs which support two of Wells Fargo’s largest and fastest-growing products: Home Equity and Personal Credit lines and loans. Direct mail is an important generator of new customer acquisition and current customer account growth for these lending products. This position works closely with the direct mail Program Managers, statistical Modelers, List Coders and Print Production team to ensure that critical business and marketing strategies are translated into mail able lists which help us achieve our revenue and profit goals. This position is also responsible for oversight of the auditing of those lists to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.The position reports into the Campaign Execution group, which is responsible for the end-to-end execution of over 50 Home Equity and Personal Credit direct mail campaigns annually. This individual will work with his or her colleagues within the campaign Execution team, including List Coding and Print production, to ensure a consistent methodology is used to create the List criteria and that the output files are properly audited. In addition, this position will provide support to the cross-functional “core teams” which manage each campaign and which include a list Strategist, as well as, a lead program manager, a List Coder, a Modeler, our creative Agency, and a print Production Manager. In all of his or her work, this position will be responsible for identifying and implementing process enhancements. This individual will manage a team of 4 individuals who support both the development of the direct mail strategy document and the auditing of the final direct mail list. In support of direct mail list strategy, this position will be responsible for understanding overall business strategy and campaign- specific marketing objectives, researching data requests, designing campaign lists and mailing matrices, and documenting coding requirements. In support of the direct mail list audit function this position will be responsible for understanding appropriate auditing methodologies and validating that credit, compliance, measurement and campaign criteria requirements have been met. In addition, this individual will own the development of strategy documents for some of the campaigns.
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in direct mail marketing is required – this experience can include database marketing, list strategies, direct mail analytics, list coding, direct mail modeling, direct mail campaign management, or other relevant experience

Experience in pre-screened credit and “Invitation to Apply” list selection

Previous auditing experience

Prior experience managing a team of technical consultants and analysts

Strong competence in Microsoft Office products with some SQL and SAS coding experience

Ability to work on multiple projects within a multi-team environment, including strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize own workload to meet delivery dates

Self starter with a “can-do” attitude, detail-oriented with a high sense of accountability and integrity.

Strong team player with clear verbal and written communication skills

4 year college degree
* Preferred Skills:
Experience with Financial Services lending products, such as home equity, mortgage or credit cards; working knowledge of Wells Fargo lending products a strong plus

Working experience with the Wells Fargo Hemisphere database or other large relational marketing databases

Masters degree preferredCompensation:
