Marketing Database Analytics Manager

Applies statistical techniques and business case analysis to identify opportunities to enhance income growth, improved target market insights and support new product/distribution channel opportunities. Plays a leadership role in establishing and applying industry-standard analytical techniques and business case processes to identify segment, product and channel opportunities. Provides insights for continuous improvement of acquisition, cross sell and retention campaigns for assigned segments and business units. Applies insights systematically against the Marketing Data Mart and with Sales Force Automation systems. Manages communication and project planning across diverse teams of marketing and technology professionals. Relies on previous analytical experience and monitoring of industry trends to anticipate and implement analytical projects in support of WellPoint business.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS in Business, Statistics, Economics or related studies and 5 or more years of direct marketing analytical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to interface with business, marketing and IT resources to determine project scope, analytical techniques, timelines and deliverables. Track record of significant bottom-line impact from projects implemented. Proven ability to apply findings in core Marketing Data Mart environment and in Sales systems.
