Marketing Communication Manager with Mass Markets
Leading Energy company is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager with Mass Market experience. The qualified candidate will have Energy industry experience as well as the following:
Responsible for Marketing Communications activities which support strategic marketing and sales objectives through the development and implementation of high-impact, targeted external communications programs directed at small business and residential mass market customers.
Supports sales and marketing programs through:
-Target audience profiling
-Competitive marketing analysis
-Marketing Communications campaigns for mass markets, including product development
-Media planning, buying and management
-Program management and analysis
-Collateral development including creative development through production
-Marketing Communications campaign analysis
-Trade show activity implementation, execution and analysis
Aligns with Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Employee Communications and Sales Channels to:
?Create strategies for delivering a unified, clear message to customers aligned with the company’s brand strategy.
?Develop sales and marketing collateral, print and electronic, to favorably position Commerce Energy with small business and residential customers.
?Identify key tradeshow and conference opportunities that will raise the visibility of Commerce Energy with key customers and influentials. Plan, execute and measure results.
?Support sales with the development of collateral materials and merchandise for use at tradeshows and conferences.
?Work with Corporate Webmaster to drive messaging, marketing and sales campaigns on commerceenergy.com
?Identify appropriate media channels for communication to customers, by market
?Provide demographic analysis of targeted customers by market
?Support all company marketing and sales channels in their day-to-day marketing and communication needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Required
•Basic understanding of Energy industry desired
•market B-to-B and, or B-to-C experience a must
•Excellent written and verbal skills
•Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office Suite
(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), as well as MS Project and Visio
•Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, fast moving environment
•Proficient in layout software applications including Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator desired
